Wonderland of Lights
Your life. Your decisions. We believe if you want to live independently you don’t need permission, you need resources. Visit us here!
At RCIL, we provide real solutions to the personal, social or governmental barriers that are stopping your decisions from being respected and realized. We have three decades of experience in providing personally tailored advocacy, information, and training services.
RCIL believes that the widespread poverty, segregation, and isolation of people with disabilities is unacceptable, should not be tolerated and requires change.
The Wonderland of Lights is RCIL’s signature fundraiser!
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How can I sponsor a light?
Each year, the light show attracts more than 30,000 delighted children and adults and raises tens of thousands of dollars to support RCIL’s programs and services. Contact RCIL for more information.
Q: What are the light sponsor opportunities?
Large light displays can be sponsored at levels ranging from $500 to $10,000 and includes many benefits including advertising for your business, signage, free passes and more.
Small lights can be sponsored at three levels: Candy Canes for $25, Snowflakes for $50, and Pine Trees for $150. In the spirit of the season, choose one of these festive displays in honor or in memory of a loved one. You will be listed in the program guide in The Observer-Dispatch.
The Hero Light can be sponsored for $350. This giant, animated display of a police officer, firefighter and soldier raising the American Flag commemorates the commitment of those who serve. Sponsorship includes signage, advertising and free passes to the show.
Q: How can I volunteer?
A: This event couldn’t take place without our dedicated volunteers — and we’re always looking for more! You can help with the setup of our small light displays or spend an evening greeting happy show attendees. Please contact Holly at RCIL to learn how you can become involved.
